I have been slacking on posting updates and pictures. I am actually started typing this post on my cell phone waiting for Julia's bus to show up. Ethan and I were jamming out to Raffy.
Julia is LOVING school. I can only hope she loves it this much in 10 years. Today I dropped her off at school because I had to go to Lawrence's work and pick up his computer, he is home sick for the day. As we passed the bus stop she said "MOM we missed the bus" I told her again that I was taking her to school and I was dropping her off in car loop. She then told me "Mom if you would watch the clock we would not have missed the bus." When I got to her school she then tried to get me to drop her off at the other end of the school. Her words were "Mom I'm in kindergarten I KNOW how to get to class, you can just pull over and let me out." She is so independent it scares me.
Ethan is giving me a run for my money. This child climbs, gets into things and throws a fit like no one else... I've had to get creative on ways to keep him out of things. There was a day last week when I was at my breaking point. E figured out how to grab the pillow off the couch and use it as a stepping stool. Once he did that he could throw is leg up and then pull the rest of his body onto the couch. He then would run back and forth on the couch falling off multiple times. I have a fear he is going to fall off and break a bone or a tooth.
I called Lawrence on this day crying asking him for an idea to keep Ethan off the couches. His response was "let him fall off he will learn" typical male response. I let him know the next time I called him he would need to meet me at the ER because I just knew that was wear this day was taking us.
Lucky for me we did not have to make a trip to the ER.
Ethan is going to be a great swimmer, he has a set of lungs on him. I hear the high pitched LONG screams just about every hour. I had to go to Publix the other morning. Ethan did not want to go and screamed so lound it was as if I was pinching him (trust me I wanted to pinch him for embarrassing me so much) it was so loud that the bakery lady came hunting me down in the store to give Ethan a cookie.
I decorated our house for Halloween today. The reason mainly being that this is the time of year I don't have to dust and I encourage the spiders to spin webs in my family room;) Real spider webs actually really freak me out*. The web is on you but you can't see it and God knows where the spider is during your flaring about ripping apart its home and don't even get me started on dragonflies that's one animal that send me running away like a crazy person. I'll would rather encounter an alligator then a dragonfly!
All of these pictures are taken with my cell phone. Ethan has a goal in life to touch my camera lens and I'm not a fan of sticky little fingers touching my nice camera. The pictures pretty much explain whats going on so my pictures and words don't really match up this time
Cute story about Ethan yesterday, he was mad at me for shutting the office door (apparently he need to send some emails to people) so I put him down in the hallway to let him scream nonstop for a couple of minutes while I carried on with my day. He got so lound and so high pitched that he set the alarm off for glass breaking. The alarm was a beep to let me know glass just shattered but Ethan though that the beep was Lawrence opening the garage up to pull his car in. Ethan turned off the waterworks ran to the window and said "Dadda, DADDA,DA DAAA" He was not happy when Lawrence did not walk in a couple minutes later. It was nothing a little yo gabba gabba could not fix.
It has taken me two days to write this! I really need to stop doing laundry and start posting more blog entries. Lawrence will love this idea
*Dear Lawrence- There is a HUGE spider in the garage right above the laundry room. Look up and you can see her.I have named her "Gaga" I made a deal with here that if she does not fall on my head I will not kill her but you did not make that same deal... Please kill it.
